I was born in Maastricht and have appreciated the beauty of the city since childhood. Now, I am also studying here, which has shown me a completely different side of Maastricht. I would like to see these two worlds meet and mingle more often. Because too often these are still separated with too little understanding for each other. I am convinced that M:OED will be an important player in building this bridge. That is also why I joined the party. In addition, I think it is a pity that many students leave after their studies because internships and jobs are often only outside Maastricht. It would be an asset for Maastricht if these students would more often stay and put their gained knowledge into practice in and for Maastricht.
