M:OED pop-up exhibition “Future Proof” – March 7 & 8
By Bestuur on
March 7 and 8, 2026, political movement M:OED will transform Kesselskade 54 into a cultural breeding ground. No dusty speeches or campaign posters, but a vision of the city’s future through art, music, and dialogue.
M:OED is not only focusing on the upcoming elections, it is also turning its attention to the next generation. With the pop-up exhibition Future Proof, the movement shows that building a city does not only happen in the city council, it happens just as much on the street and in the atelier.
M:OED brings together the talents of local art academies and the energy of the music school under one roof. Visitors don’t just walk into a gallery; they end up in a “living laboratory”. With visual art and local musicians, visitors are challenged to literally put their own vision of Maastricht on the map.
‘The future begins with what we create today,’ says M:OED. Future Proof marks a shift in the campaign: from broadcasting to doing things together. The event is a direct invitation to young people and residents to take back control of how we live, care and connect in Maastricht.
